Harvest CelebrationVIROQUA OCT 9 2010

I just wanted to let you know/remind you about the art fair in conjunction with the Harvest Celebration at Eckhart Park in Viroqua on October 9th.  There’s a $25 artist fee and we’ve got a nice mix of artists on board, but there is still space available.  It isn’t required to have a tent for this art show, but it’s recommended depending on weather.  We’ll have a mix of traditional art-fair displays as well as a less traditional approach including local art businesses/galleries, sculpture displays and installations, artist demonstrations, and activities (facepainting, henna tattoos, etc).  We’ll begin setup around 1pm and expect the crowd to follow the handmade puppet parade into the park around 3pm.  Among the festivities in the park are food and farmer vendors, music and entertainment (square dance, tribal dancing, puppet pagent, fire artists, magic and more!).  Vendors will be able to tear down at dusk.  If you know of anyone interested, they can contact Stacy at wingedwomanart@yahoo.com.
