I achieved my first atunement in 1996 after several meetings with a wonderful master teacher in Waukesha; Linda Zealy. After sustaining horribly painful work injury in my right shoulder, I shortly realized the only thing that worked on relieving the pain was Reiki.  Back then it was a decision to better myself emotionally, mentally and physically, and the process of learning Reiki through attunements with their 21 day cleansing cycles was a great way for me to continue on with my own healing process.

In 1997 I took my 2nd attunement with Rev. Karen K. Mitchell ND., PHD. and her husband Rev. Steve Mitchell. I was very impressed by her book; Reiki A Torch In The Daylight, and thought it would be a good idea to get another Master Teachers’ perspective on Reiki. For the next three years, I used Reiki daily on myself, others and animals.

Finally in 2000, I made the wise choice of becoming a Master Teacher. I felt that Reiki had been so helpful to me and those that I had shared it with that I wanted to be able to teach others. For my Master Teacher Attunement, I chose my friends and collegues Carol Bigbee Daly and her husband James Daly to train me. A week later my students began to arrive, and since then I have been blessed with the opportunity to share the secrets of Reiki with many students… Thank you all for this opportunity, I am very grateful!
